Lifestyle Changes and Tips to Prevent Hair Loss

While it’s not as easy as Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 according to an article I read today it is possible to make some lifestyle changes and choices which can reduce your chances of experiencing premature hair loss and male pattern balding.

There of course has been proof shown that there are “Hair loss genes” but still there are things you can do in your every day life, as a women or a man, to reduce or prolong your chances of experiencing hair loss.

I’ll quickly re-cap what that article said today and provide you a link below to read it for yourself.

#1 Avoid Stress: This can cause issues with hair loss, usually not premanent but smaller alopecia’s that come and go with extreme periods of illness or stress in your life.

#2 Food you Eat: Low iron or protein in your diet can result in some hair loss.

#3 Horomone Imbalance: More so for women, but can be an issue with men as well. Things such as pregnancy and going on or off birth control can be a cause of temporary hair loss for women.

#4 Poor hair care: This is one I hadn’t thought of, but the author suggests that using poor quality or harsh hair brushes as well as hair dryers can do permanent damage to your hair. If this is true then of course the opposite must also be true that if you get in the habit of using the best hair loss shampoo each day you should be able to prolong and reduce your chances of having thinning hair in the near future.
